Terms of Use

For the LIMINA app and the LIMINA+ subscription.

Last updated: 28 September 2026

1. Purpose

LIMINA is an app of guided symbolic rituals inspired by world traditions, for personal reflection, recentring and cultural discovery. These terms govern its use and the LIMINA+ subscription. They supplement Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. By using the app you accept these terms.

2. What LIMINA is not

LIMINA is not a medical or psychological diagnosis, not a curse detector, and not a fortune-telling service guaranteeing any outcome. Its readings, whether traditional or produced by artificial intelligence, are symbolic and have no predictive value. No result (protection, luck, sleep, healing, confidence) is promised.

If you are in distress or in an emergency, contact a health professional or emergency services — 911 in the US and Canada, 999 in the UK, 000 in Australia, 112 across Europe — or a crisis line such as 988 (US). LIMINA is not a substitute for professional support.

3. Free access

The app can be downloaded and used for free, without an account. The free version includes five rituals, one of them with a photo reading, and two photo readings per month. The history and steps of every ritual remain available to read.

4. LIMINA+ subscription

LIMINA+ unlocks the full ritual catalog and twelve photo readings per month, with a monthly or a yearly plan. For reference: $9.99 a month or $49.99 a year in the United States, €9.99 a month or €49.99 a year in the euro area. The price and period shown on the subscription screen, in your local currency, at the time you subscribe are the ones that apply.

5. Payment, renewal and cancellation

6. Refunds

Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com; the publisher has no access to payment data. If you are in the EU, by subscribing you request immediate access to LIMINA+ digital content and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal ends once access begins.

7. Practice safely

Every ritual lists its safety notes. Follow them, especially around fire (use the virtual candle if you prefer), water and food, which must never be consumed after a ritual. Do not use the app on another person without their consent.

8. Respect for traditions

The traditions presented belong to the communities who keep them alive. LIMINA presents them as culture, with sources, and reproduces no sacred object or gesture — for example, its patterns draw on the graphic language of vèvè without reproducing any of them.

9. Intellectual property

The LIMINA name, interface, texts, histories, artwork and sounds belong to the publisher. Any reproduction or reuse without written permission is prohibited.

10. Liability

The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for indirect damages arising from its use, or for the consequences of a ritual practiced without following its safety notes. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Changes

The app and these terms may change. You will be told in the app about any substantial change; current subscriptions stay under the terms you accepted until they renew.

12. Personal data

See the Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. For any dispute, please contact puccini.f13@gmail.com first. If you live in the European Union and your written complaint has not been resolved, you may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator the publisher belongs to: Médiation de la Consommation & Patrimoine (MCP), 12 square Desnouettes, 75015 Paris, France — mcpmediation.org; requests can be filed online at mcpmediation.org/saisir-le-mediateur.
